It is a enlightning to examine old magazines to study the many dress styles offered  for men, women and children.

Old vintage women’s magazines can gives the generations of  today, a glimpse into the past, providing an insight into home life.... decorating,  gardening and yummy recipes.   Such magazines also serve as a resource for learning and researching the art of fashionable dress of the day.

Our main focus, here at The Gatherings, will be to offer old issues of Godey's, Delineator, Pictorial Review and other magazines of the period that emphasis men, women and children fashions and home life.  Later magazines from the 1920's to 1950's will include McCall along with later years of Delineator and other magazines geared toward women.

I am sure you will find it a treat to thumb through many of these magazine pages.
