Product Information Now here is a little sweetie and sure to steal your heart! Little boy's 2 pc dress from the late 1800's in a white pique cotton fabric accented with tambour work along the bottom of the skirt & bodice of dress. Jacket with its large collar is also accented with tambour work. As is both the front & back of jacket as well as the cuffs & collar. The edge of the collar is edged with 2" wide eyelet trim. This same eyelet is used as insertion down the front of the bodice on either side of the center. Dress, itself is sleeveless. The back of the dress buttons to the waist. Skirt falls into large soft pleats at the back and around to the side front. Front of the skirt though is straight with no pleats or gathers attaching to the bodice. Jacket fastens at the front neck opening with a frog & pearl buttons. Its a lovely dress so suitable for display, dressing a large bear, doll or even a child. Condition is good although it does have a few minor problems which is to be expected for the age. You will find a few pinholes in the one sleeve and a couple in the other sleeve along with one that is about the size of an eraser head. I found some slight fraying to on a piece of the tambour work on the jacket's back. (see photo). The dress has been laundered & pressed - ready for whatever your need. Measuring of the dress from the neckline to hem the dress is 23" long. Across the shoulders from one side to the other 9-1/4", Chest 24" around, waist 26" around. Length of jacket center back 11", across the shoulders 10".
