Dotted Net Lace And Satin Ribbons 1920 Flapper Bed Bonnet Cap
The sweetness of innocence is certainly suggested by this demure bed bonnet.
The frothy lace and net dotted swiss bonnet dates from the later Edwardian to 1920′s era. With its striking pink silk satin rosette bows attaching to either side, the bows secures the ribbon band across the top of bonnet. It is truly a beauty and in unworn condition. Gathers at the nape of the neck form a deep ruffle at the back, which also conveys the demure look. It is one of the sweetest of bonnets that I have seen.
The bonnet measures 18" from one side to the other and 8" along the nape of the neck. Ribbon band is 3-1/2" wide with the ribbon bows 4" in diameter.
Again, the condition is very nice ~ it is truly a beauty.
