The boudoir bed caps were quite the rage during 1915 -1920s era. Coiffures that were not yet tamed could be hidden under a confection of silks, satins or hand made crochet lace, such as this one, for a morning appearance or retiring for the evening.
The bed cap or bonnet has never been used and although somewhat yellowed from storage, the condition is very nice.
Measurement from the middle of the crown to the edge is 9" long. Circumference along the opening is 26" around.
