Another fine example of hand fillet crochet made by Mrs. Thielmann (1874 - 1972).
The sweet drawstring purse was probably made in the 1920's or 1930's. A motif of a bird on wing worked on the front side of purse. Initials are worked on the backside, which I believe is a J.V.. Although not positive.
Finer thread is used for the purse in an ercu color. The size of the purse is 6" in length and 4-3/4" wide across the bottom. Lovely condition.
