A lovely pair of hand knitted late Victorian or Edwardian lady's mittens. Very fine cotton knit in a brown shade.
A cable stitched pattern decorates the front of the mittens from the wrist area to the tip. The same design is used at the wrist on the back of mittens.
Very nice condition although worn. Mitten length is 11" long. Width across the palm is 2" wide.
With the mittens a narrow width they would be suitable for display or carry for reeactment or other such event.
