Dating from the late 1890's or early 1900's a lady's morning dress wrapper in a tan and white goemetric calico print. The dress is loosely fitted with an inside bodice fastening with hook and eyes to close. Hook and eye at the collar and one to fasten the short ties. Full sleeves with a casing at the wrists that does have elastic, which would not have been original to the dress. Narrow ruffle at the hem line. Back is gathered and fitted as typical of a wrapper of the period. I think you will be quite pleased with the condition of the dress, although a tear along the inside bodice at the hooks about 4" long. This is near the bottom of bodice. Does not show when the garment is on. Could be easily mended without showing at all. Otherwise, a few normal pin dot holes and dots of oxidation. To be sure not much. Measurements: 51" long from neck line to hem. 11-1/2" across the shoulders. 30" bust.
