2 Hand Made Victorian Ribbon Darn Lace Sachets
Ladies of past generations spent many hours creating and executing lovely needlework pieces. Needlework flourished on treasures to give even the most necessary object an irresistible as well as a distinctive look
I am offering two, just such treasures . Ones I think you will find charming and romantic. These hand made sachets, each made of moire water taffeta ribbon, one in green and the other blue ribbon date from the early 1900's. Each with a different lace hand stitched to the corners of the ribbon.
A pocket has been made of the ribbon, filled with sachet, then stitched closed.
Back of each of the sachets.
Each measure 4-1/2" square. Condition is very nice.
