This vintage 1940 1950 ladies embroidered muslin apron is a must see. This beautiful apron is embroidered with a basket of flowers in the middle portion of the apron. A triangle shaped pocket is situated on the one side. Apron is edged in blue bias trim.
Long shoulder straps that criss cross in the back and pin on either side of the apron.
The length is 33-1/2" long from the middle of the shoulder strap to the hem.
24" wide across the front of apron from one point to the other point just below the waist.
Condition: I am sure the apron has been enjoyed and used slightly. Embroidery work still very bright. I did not notice any soiling or spotting marks. A little bit of fray to the muslin where it joins the bias tape along one of the side edges. This fray has probably resulted because of the fabric not completely caught in the sewing of the bias.
