Vintage hot pad pot holders come in all shapes and styles. I am offering three that are sure to tickle your fancy. Dating from the Depression era, the calico fabric chickens are home sewn.
Two are made of the same brightly colored fabric while the other is different. All three are the same size. Each are padded and the lower part of the chicken opens to a flap that fits over a pot handle to keep the heat at bay. And just so they don't get away, each has a loop for hanging. A bit of embroidery thread for eyes.
Possibly none have ever been used. Size is 7" long not including the loop for hanging x 5-1/4" wide.
All three sold as a lot.
