Young lad's sailor shirt shortalls outfit from the Depression era. The green cotton fabric is styled in a sailor motif with large white collar accented with green braid.
The cuff of the sleeves are turned back with white braid accent.
Shirt buttons to the waistband of the shorts.
Cute style and although they are in nice condition they have been worn. I'm guessing the outfit would fit a boy about 8-10 years of age. Here are some measurements that might help in the size: Length of outfit is 27" long from the neckline to the hem of shorts. 12" across from shoulder to shoulder. 26" around the chest and 25" around the waist. Length of the pants from the waist band to the middle of the crotch (center back) is 12" long.
