A very sweet flannel nightgown from the late 1920's or early 1930's in unused condition still with the Amoskeag tag. This company was out of business in 1936, so the gown is prior to that time. It is a kimono style (open down the front with tie at neck line). Pink stitching outlines the neck line, sleeves and front opening. Measurement: 21" long from the neck line to hem. 9-1/2" across from shoulder to shoulder. Chest is 22" around. Condition is unused although the gown has been folded so you will find some yellowing along these fold lines.
With the tag, this would be a great textile for doing research on these old American companies.
