Vintage and never worn old stock girl's dress from the 1920's.
The organdy dress in a pale blue with white machined embroidery is quite delightful. Not to mention the condition is almost like new. Another plus is the dress would fit a girl about 12 years old as older children's clothing are harder to find.
Narrow lace trims the sleeves. Hem stitching separates the body of the skirt from the embroidered hem line. Back opening fastens with buttons hidden in a placket except at the neck and waist. Rayon ribbon sash accents the waist line.
Measurements: 37" long from the neck line to the hem. 13" across the shoulders from one side to the other. 32" around the waist. 34" around the chest and 10" sleeve length.
Condition: although never worn, I noticed a soil /oxidation line across the skirt. This is not all that visible. No other flaws that I found.

Although this particular piece is not suitable for renaissance or re-enactment wear, with a little imagination, all of our vintage children's clothing makes perfect accessories for acting or drama club costuming.
