Here is a very nice example of a vintage 1920's to 1930's horsehair cloche hat. This summer hat has a brim which turns up on one side and downward on the other side.
The main part of the hat is a tan horsehair with a shade darker horsehair in a different design forming the brim of the hat. Narrow straw braid forms the loops and curlicues to accent the brim.
No label or tags. I do believe though, the hat has never been worn. Although slightly out of round from years of storage it is clean with the condition good.
I would assume the hat could be re-blocked should it be needed.
Circumference to the inside of hat measures 23". Brim is 2" deep.
