A lovely Civil War era lady's small hand knitted red silk reticule purse. Very finely knitted. Cut steel ornamentation on both sides of bag. Drawstring to open & close. Cut steel beads at the top edge of the reticule above the drawstring. Tassel at the bottom. 5-1/2" long ..including tassel 7" long. Condition: There is some rusting to the cut steel beads especially on the one side. Otherwise good.
