Here is a wonderful horsehair cloche dating from the 1930's or possibly late 1920's. This hat still retains a label with the stock number attached to the inside brim. Label indicates it is a Hatty's Hats - A National Favorite - New York Paris.
It is of horsehair in a black and natural color combined in a pleasing design. The slightly turned-up brim measures 2-1/4" at the front and sides of hat tapering to less than one inch at the back.
An Art Deco style Bakelite hat ornament sets the tone to the 1930's era.
See below for an inside look at the hat. It is lined in a rayon fabric. In about as mint condition as possible as it is unworn.
The inside circumference of the hat is 21". Height of the crown is 4-1/2" tall. Condition is excellent.
