How frilly is this little treasure! Probably a little boy's just like some you see in old photos! This little creation is of a nice quality soft cotton with LARGE eyelet collar extending over the shoulders. Whitework eyelet ruffle around the edge of collar & double ruffle extending down the hidden front opening.
Again, the same whitework forms a ruffle around the edge of the sleeves. Fitted waistband with button holes at different intervels. Blouse either buttoned to skirt or short pants. In very nice condition and unless I missed something I found no damage. Has been laundered ... ready to wear or display.
The length of the blouse is 17-1/2" long. 11" across the shoulders. 26" around the chest. 20" around the waistband. 18" sleeve length. A real beauty!
Dates from the early 1900 - Edwardian era. Many of our items are more than suitable for childrens re-enactment or renaissance accessories.
