1890 to early 1900's toddler boy's jacket and skirt outfit in a brown and tan cotton plisse or crinkle cloth fabric
The jacket buttons down the front with 9 plain buttons in a vegetable ivory. The only trimming on the jacket is a braid of gold metallic trim at the edge of the sleeves and around the outside edge of the collar. A casing with elastic. that no longer has any stretch at the hem of the jacket which at one time gave the jacket a fuller blousey look. Of course, this elastic could be replaced.

Skirt has box pleats at the waist that are partially pressed to the hem One button fastens the back of the waist..
Inside look at the waistband. Five buttonholes for fastening underclothing.
Measurements: The jacket measures 14" long from the neckline to the hem. 9" across from shoulder to shoulder. 25" around the chest. 26" around the waist.
Skirt: 11-1/2" long from waist to hem. 18-1/2" around the waist.
Condition: I found it to be very nice. Of course, I am sure it has not been cleaned, if ever, so you may find a bit of soiling although I found none..
