Adorable Victorian - Edwardian Silk Baby Booties
Tucked away long ago in a trunk that was stored in the rafters, and just recently opened nearly 80 years later, a sweet pair of hand knitted silk baby booties.
Dating from the late Victorian to the early 1920's, the booties are in excellent condition. My special love were the tassels that tie around the ankles. Size of the booties are 5" long from the scallop top to the end of toe. Measurement from toe to heel is 4-1/4" long. 4" around the ankle.
