Older youth or young man's brown leather shoes in unworn condition dating Edwardian - 1920's era. The shoes are imprinted with the Red Wing name and although they were found and stored for years in the above box, the box is not correct for the shoes. The box is labeled Hamilton Brown Shoe Co.
As you notice from the photos the shoes are in excellent condition. I did not find a blemish on them.
I could not ascertain from the numbers inside of the shoe the size. Although they do seem small and narrow in width. Length of shoe is 10" long. Width across the ball is 3-1/4".
The box the shoes were stored is plain with only printing on the one end. It does have some breaks along the sides and bottom of the box. The box is in reasonably good shape but does have some damage.
Many of our items are more than suitable for childrens re-enactment or renaissance accessories.
