A wonderful unusual Kate Greenaway style children printed on a red cotton fabric parasol. Late Victorian or early 1900s. The parasol consist of 10 panels with each panel being a repeat of children playing with hoops, dog etc. The figures appear. around the bottom border as well as the very top. Printed rings of different sizes appear in the middle of the fabric.
Pretty wood turned handle part way down ending in a nice turned knob.
Even though there are two mends in the fabric as well as numerous small holes along the edge and some fading of the red where the parasol would have been folded this is still a great stable parasol and worthy to add to a collection or enjoy displayed with children clothing.
All metal framework in good & working condition.
