Product Information
What a little charmer is this child's white linen coat from the Edwardian era. The linen is so fine and so perfect for a late spring or early summer wearing. Coat has a double breasted front with just the one row of buttons fastening the front. The other set is purely for a decorative look. Small patch pocket on the left chest. A row of partial stitched tucks ending in a soft pleat is another decorative feature on either side both the front and back of the coat. The row of double buttons fastening and decorating the front of coat. Four stitched tapered tucks gives dimension to the lower part of the sleeve. Another close up view of the front of coat. A back view of the coat and large collar. A small bow is embroidered in each of the corners of the back of collar. Condition of the coat is very nice. If there are any imperfections I did not notice. Size probably would fit a child 5 to 6 year old, however, I am just guessing. Here are the measurements: The length of the coat from the neckline to hem is 22" long. 11" across from one shoulder to the other. Length of sleeve 12-1/4" long. 6-1/2" completely around the opening of the cuff. 26" around the chest. Don't miss an opportunity to buy a lovely coat such. I don't think you will be disappointed.
