Later Victorian to early 1900's child's long white cotton stockings with several bands of red strips. The little stockings show wear but still, if you like rustic primitive things, the stockings are just that.....country perfect.
The length of the stockings from top to toe is 12-1/2" long. Toe to heel the measurement is 5-1/2" long. Guessing they would fit a child about 5 years of age.
A long ago mend on the back of one heel and yes, they do have oxidation from storage and one does have a hole at the heel. (looking at the first photo you can see the hole on the stocking on the left).
