An endearing country primitive look! Little cotton stripe stockings from the 19th Century are not as easily found today as even a few years ago. This darling pair is from a museum in a small Ohio town.
Yes, they do show wear including a few small holes ~ but isn't that part of the charm!
A baby pair measuring 10" long from top to toe and from toe to heel 3-3/4" .
I am sure the colors were at one time a darker brown and cream/tan but now are faded. Wonderful acquistion for a country home!
