Lady's late Victorian early Edwardian collar in lovely lace work. The design of the collar is of scrolls with a flora pattern. Machine made by Schiffli Embroidery machine, Burntwork technique. Design inspired by Handmade Italian Gros Point Venice Needlelace.
Ecru in color. A small amount of oxidation from storage. Although no obvious evidence of damage you may find some tiny imperfection.
Measurement of the collar at along the inside neck line is 18-1/2". Outside edge measurement is 52" from one side around to the other side. Width of the collar from the neck line to the point of the scallop is 9" wide.
