Desco Handkerchief Of Irish Linen Madeira Embroidery
Here is a lovely vintage unused Irish linen handkerchief still with the original Desco label. The hankie is embellished with hand embroidery work done in Madeira.
Handkerchief measures 13" square. The decorative embellishment is on one corner with the other three corners an embroidered leaf motif as seen in the photo below.
The handkerchief has never been used or laundered so you will find a tad of yellowing/oxidation from storage. Also, as noted in the above photo, evidence of some residue from glue of a paper sticker that is no longer attached.
