A pair of Edwardian to 1920's dress embellishments or cuffs made of a braid fashioned into a lovely design.
Stitches of hand needlework are worked in silk, form the brides or bridges between the braid pattern. The pair, although in nice condition, have been removed from a garment. A few of the bride or bridge stitches are broken so there are a couple of areas would need a small amount of repair to secure the design again. Very very minor. A stitch or two would be all that is needed.
Length of the embellishment is 9-1/4" long x 3-1/4" wide through the center area .
A couple dots of oxidation marks from storage.
