We are dating this pretty square lace table doily with butterfly and rose motifs to about 1920.
It is a machine darned net lace doily with filling stitches on the butterflies, hand worked I believe in a pearl cotton thread.
There is a lovely center motif of a large rose. The doily measures 14-1/2" long x 17" wide.
Very clean unused condition. Why not make this a gift to someone special who loves roses and butterflies?
