Here is a fabulous 1950's pair of vintage hand tatted & embroidery pillowcases of percale tubing fabric. Cases are unused and never washed. I am offering these cases from a home of two unmarried sisters who spent much leisure time in the art of tatting and crocheting.
Didn't matter if they used or gave them away they loved the joy of making beautiful needle work pillowcases. So the drawers and closets were full of unused pieces! I can also attest, their work is beautifully done. The pair I am offering are tatted and embroidery with butterfly motif.
A gently curve with 3/4" wide tatting lace edges both the front and back of each case. Overall size is 21" wide x 32-1/2" long. Never laundered so you will find oxidation from storage. Just a lovely "make you smile" set.
