Now what little lassie wouldn't like this sweet handmade blouse for her favorite doll as I am sure it was made just for a special little girl.
Dating from the early part of the 1900's this doll blouse (or waist as my Grandmother called a blouse) has full sleeves with cuff. Hand embroidery feather stitching decorates the edge of the cuff as well as either side of the wide tuck down the front.
Back of the blouse has two vertical tucks from the neckline to the hem on either side of the back opening. Handmade button holes with shoe buttons fasten the back.
The fabric is a blue twill in a cotton.
Measurements: Center back is 7-1/4" in length. 6" across from one shoulder to another. 14" completely around the chest and the 16 around the waist. Sleeve length is 5" long.
Condition: A few tiny holes but very minor.
