A set of four lithograph toy tin plates from a child's play dish set. Dating from the early part of the 1900's these colorful plates feature children rowing in a "bath tub" boat. Ah.....on a summer day..... !!
No markings on the plate but Chein and Ohio Art were a two prominent manufactures of toy lithograph tin. Although possibly neither was the manufacture of these play dishes.
The little plates measure 3-1/4" diameter and all are in "played with" condition. Two better than the other two. Some dings and dents plus two do have scratch & rust marks.
