A lovely vintage 60" round early 1900's -1920's linen tablecloth with insets and edging of hand fillet crochet lace. The rose motif scallop edging measures 9-1/2" wide at the widest point and 4-1/5" wide at the narrow point. Four insets of the fillet crochet rose motif are inserted into the linen fabric. An embroidery garland of roses is a beautiful a accent to this cloth.
I believe the cloth has never been used although recently laundered to remove years of storage and oxidation markings. However, I did notice in one area (see photo) I can still detect some oxidation soiling. I believe in the second washing this slight stain would be completely removed. This small imperfection, in my opinon, does not over shadow the beauty of this gorgeous cloth.
