Here is a charming vintage 1930 tablecloth that is sure to please ~ It is so perfect for gift giving ~ bridal shower ~ a special birthday.
This lovely piece is a Madeira, appliqued and hand embroidered tablecloth ~ this type of embroidery is native to Portugal.
The lovely focal point of this tablecloth is the center created with baskets and bouquets of flowers.
These lovely flowers appears on the outside edge of the tablecloth ~ see close up photos below.
The size of the tablecloth is 51-1/2" square, has never been used and still retains its label although it has been removed so the tablecloth could be laundered and freshened. The label has then been pinned back to the corner.
