It is a delight to offer another gem of a needle case from the Victorian - early 1900's era.
It, too, is hand made of tightly crocheted stitches over brass rings. Each of the rings are stitched to the next to form a round.
Stitches of a variety of patterns fills the center of the brass rings. The center stitchery on this particular needle case feature the same type of stitches on the front and a
different set on the back of the case.
Two fine wool leaves edged in embroidery blanket stitch attached on the inside for storing needles.
Narrow cream silk bow accents the top of the case.
The measurement of this little gem is 2-1/2" diameter.
Wonderful unused condition.
