A very interesting vintage 1930 practice sampler of Swedish Embroidery stitches on huck toweling. Seven different embroideries plus drawn thread hemstitching and a lovely tatted trim on either end of the towel.
Perhaps a school girl project or a lady wanting to keep a record of different stitches so she could, then again refer. The towel has never been laundered so colors are vibriant.
A wonderful teaching or study source. The towel measures 32" long including the tatting x 17-1/2" wide. Very nice condition.
