Four of the cutest rather naive embroidery on muslin quilt blocks of barnyard animals. These adorable blocks date from the 1930's or 1940's. Ready to be assembled into a quilt or other sewing project. Or perhaps to frame for a child's room. Each animal is embroidered in outline stitch on muslin fabric.
Each block measures about 9-1/2" x 10" although each vary somewhat in size.
The embroidery work of one of the back legs of this horse has not been completed although thread is still attached. Possibly there would be enough to complete the task.
Condition of the blocks are nice, however, you will find some oxidation on a couple of them.
