Wow! Is this cluster of hand made silk apples amazing! How lovely to have adorned an Edwardian hat at the time.
These fantastic apples and the cluster of grapes offered in a separate listing were old stock left from a closed millinery shop.
The three apples in the cluster are surrounded with deep green fabric leaves. Hand sewn and wired together the group measures 7" x 12" with each apple about 2-1/2" in diameter.
Very impressive and in beautiful condition.
If you make or restore Edwardian hats from this period what an accent this silk cluster would be.
