Product Information
The elegance of these old stock French beaded dress embellishments are even more beautiful to see in person than the pictures can do justice for them. The embellishments are from the Edwardian - 1920s and I am offering six as a lot. Each are the same although only one bears the original French label. How gorgeous for trimming a square neck line on a dress.
The pieces are made of a medium shade of purple and blue sequins surrounded by small clear glass beads. Pearls attach to the end of each row of clear glass beads.
All stitching of the beads are attached to tulle netting.
Although unused I found the loss of some of the pearls at the end of the rows on each of the trims.
This particular piece has three missing.
A label of Wm J.P. Griffin New York Paris is attached to the tulle netting.
The two pieces above are still attached on the same tulle netting although they can be cut apart. They just never had been.
The one on the right is missing one pearl. The one on the left is missing three pearls.
Two pearls missing on this item.
Four missing pearls on this item.
No other damage to any of the embellishments except for the missing pearls as noted.
Measurement: They are all of the same size ~ measuring across the top from one side to the other, it is 11". 10" long from the top beaded area to the center point at the bottom. Center of the beadwork to the point at the bottom is 5-1/2".
A close up of the beautiful work.
Your imagination is the limit ~ vintage perfect for designing and creating.
