An extraordinary fabulous Edwardian - 1920's millinery bandeau style feather hat band or possibly might have been used for dress trim. Gorgeous coloration of purple-blue irridescent, black and white smaller size feathers. (sorry I am not familiar with the feathers to give you the name of the bird/birds, however, I can tell you the feathers are very pretty).
There are 11 connecting rounds in the length measuring 28" long with each round 3" in diameter. Each round varies somewhat in the amount of the same feathers as I believe you can see from the photo. Sewn to a backing of black cotton cloth. The feather band is old store stock - never been used. Condition is very nice.
