Dating from the Edwardian - 1920 era here are seven glorious pieces of beaded and silk embroidery on net / tulle applique dress embellishments.
There are four of the smaller size motifs measuring 4-1/4" long x 2-1/4" wide and three motifs measuring 6-1/8" long x 3" wide. Each of the motifs are joined and could be used as one continue piece or cut apart for a single application.
The embellishment is made on tulle with silk embroidery outlined in metallic thread. Inner medallic is outlined in small clear beads.
The smaller embellishments are also made on tulle with the silk embroidery outlined in gold metallic thread. Center of the larger end is silk thread outlined in small clear beads.
All motifs are basted to fabric with pencil marking indicating price etc. Several paper tags also attached, however, none denotes country or manufacture. I am reasonably sure the appliques are French.
Condition: Unused with no flaws that I found.
Perfect for costuming or reproduction of era clothing.
