The Gatherings is offering this fine vintage 1940s 1950s drapery or upholstery fabric ~ it is definitely a fabric with personality! If you love peonies you will love this fabric! The gorgeous fabric is in unused condition measuring 8-1/2 yards long (plus a tail which is at no charge) x 36-1/2" wide.
The fabric is cotton is a drapery weight. The light rose color background is a perfect back drop for the large bouquet of peonies set on three deeper color stripes. This large cluster of peonies measures 20-1/2" long x 19-1/2" wide. The repeat of this center pattern is every 2-1/2".
The smaller bouquet is situated on both outside edges of the fabric. The cluster measures 12" long x 10" wide. The repeat between these flowers measures every 10". This flower cluster is also set against two stripes. Condition is excellent.
