A wonderful old lithograph tin candy container in the shape of a heart dating from the early 1900's.
The lid is decorated with two cherubs (angels or cupids), flora and ribbon. Framing the cherubs is embossed scroll work.
Inside of container shows a bit of surface rust, otherwise nice condition.
Back of the container show a few scratch marks and normal wear over the course of time.
Front of the box also show normal scratch marks from handling.
The size of this lovely box so perfect for Valentine's Day or to nestle with dolls and toys is 2-5/8" long x 2-1/4" wide at the widest point of the heart.
