A beautiful book or booklet of poems - a tribute to the wayside flowers. Published in 1884 by White, Stokes and Allen, N.Y.
Arranged by Ellen E. Dickerson and illustrated by Julia C. Emmet.
The soft cover book features poems by famed poets, such as Whittier, Dickenson, Longfellow, Chester an others.
Both the front and back cover displays a lovely pansy. Pages and cover are tied with ribbon. Silk Fringe edges the three side.
The book has been stored away in unused condition so I was careful in photographing the pages. There are 24 pages with four in color.
The book is in very nice condition having been stored away although I did notice a small mark on the purple petal of the pansy on the front cover. The color actually blends so is not very noticable.
Size of the book is 7" x 9-1/2" including the fringe.
