In 1936, a little girl by the name of Joy Wolf, received a doll buggy spread made by her Grandmother Thielmann. At the time Joy was 4 years of age. It is a nursery rhyme of Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary...
The dolly spread is hand fillet crochet with the date of 1936 along the one side of spread. Joy's name appears at the bottom. At the top is the word "Dolly".
The size of the spread is 29-1/2" x 30-1/2".
Ecru in color and in very nice condition. Appears never to have been laundered.
