Dating from 1910 to the 1920s, I am offering a Chintz or Polished Cotton tied comforter in a lovely flora pattern. These gorgeous comforters in a myriad of colors of flora fabrics were ever-so popular during this time period.
The comforter measures 66" wide x 88" long and is center seamed with each width of materail measuring 32-1/2" wide..
A pretty pink/salmon color tied with light blue wool yarn. Wool batting between the layers. Fabric is the same on both sides of the comforter.
Scale of the bouquet of flowers is 3" square.
Condition ~ although no holes there is soiling and oxidation marks. Most noticably along the edge as noted in the first photograph.
