Now, how adorable! A pair of twins, no less ~ a boy for you and a girl for me. The pair of German all bisque dolls are jointed/ poseable with movable arms and legs. They are dress in the original clothes, each with there own china baby bottle. These wee ones measure 2-5/8" tall. Perfect size for a dollhouse. Possibly never played with.
Although the body of the doll on the left, does have some markings that I believe may spell out the word Germany. I don't know for sure. However, I am reasonably sure they are German.
Nicely painted features with rosey checks. The mouths of both dolls are open to receive a bottle.
The bottle for this doll does have a black rubber O ring around the lip. The other bottle does not, so is missing this ring. Possibly the bottles also had rubber nipples? You will have to be the judge.
They are dressed in muslin cotton dresses with the bonnets in a loose weave fabric. One is trimmed in blue and the other in pink. Both gowns and bonnets are sewn to the doll.
Condition: some slight staining (oxidation to the clothes). I found no breaks or damage to the dolls unless I missed something.
