Product Information
I have enjoyed this little play silverware set for a very long time, however, I am trying to downsize so want to pass along to someone else who will care for it as much as I have. The china handles of the pieces, I believe, are the Blue Onion pattern. If not, a pattern similar. The rest of the utensils are of light weight metal or tin in a rather shiny surface.
Even though they are rather crudely made, what child wouldn't have delighted to play the game of pretend to set her table and feed her "children".
The little knives measure a tad longer than 4" long. The forks are 3-7/8" long. The fork on the right hand side of the photo looks to have a chip at the bottom, however, I believe it possibly is a flaw in the molding process as it does seem to be glazed over.
You will also notice a bit of rust where the metal meets the china on some. All in all though the condition is good. No markings on any of the pieces to indicate origin. A fun little set dating from the early part of the 1900's.
