Looking for a calico doll apron from the middle Victorian era? Here's a little charmer ~ perfect for china, cloth or early doll. The apron is nicely made in a small scale calico fabric in a tan background with red and brown pattern. Even the pretty braid trim fits very well to scale. All seams are hand stitched.
Short apron ties with black twill tape added to the end which I believe were attached at a later time.
The little apron measures 4-1/8" long from the waist at the center front to hem. The waist is 3" across with the short tabs measuring another 1-1/2" in length. In otherwords would fit a doll's waist about 6" around. If you added the length of the black twill ties it would be longer yet.
Condition is nice.
