Early 1900 Collingbourne Empty Pearle Cotton Crochet Ball Box

Product Information

There are those collectors that love to collect old advertising boxes, tins as well as assorted other type of advertising.  Many neat advertising notion boxes

make a perfect choice to add to a collection of sewing items.

The graphic of the empty Collingbourne's Mills box (which at one time contained 10 balls of Perle cotton) is a particularly interesting choice.

Dating from the early 1900s the graphics of the crochet thread box are done in a sepia tone of an Indian maiden holding a ball of Classic yarn.

A look at the end of the box.

Side of the box.

Other end of the box.

Opposite side of the box.

Text on the inside of the lid advertises other types of crochet thread.  Also included is a short couple of paragraphs

on the correct method of washing Art Needle Work.

Box measures 9-3/4" long x 4-5/8" wide x 2-1/4" high.

Condition is decent but not perfect as noted by the photographs above. Certainly would display very well.
