A great old advertising cardboard display box for Jefferies Hosiery. The box held children stockings and is printed with various nursery rhymes on the lid. Dates from the 1920's. One end of the box displays the Jefferies label.
This is a paper covered box with the paper wrapping around the side edges and glued to the inside of the lid.
Size is 5" wide x 7-1/2" long x 1-1/4" high.
Condition is good but not perfect as there is a crease in both the bottom and lid of box. I believe you can see from the photos these two areas.
Otherwise normal usage from handling.
